Factory-made Vs Natural Ingredients

Nowadays its always easier to grab ready made ingredients from grocery stores than making from scratch and dirty your hands. Some of the on-the-shelf cake decorations come in buttercream, fondant or iron branches and even styrofoam material. Due to the health concern, people do not want to eat much decorative material with intense colouring on the cake. These discarded ingredients caused food waste and many are afraid of consuming it although it looks absolutely beautiful.


It is definitely more convenient to buy factory-made cake materials which is also cheaper and you can save time by skipping many tedious steps. As such, natural ingredients are quickly being ignored. We have slowly drifted away from the wonders of natural ingredients commonly available on the Mother Earth.


The bean paste flower piping uses natural ingredients such as beans, chestnuts, and even potatoes. These ingredients have a natural sweetness. You can also adjust the sweetness to your liking. Not only that, the sugar content plays an important role to ensure that the cake stays in shape. Hence, natural sugar would be a better choice to make this work!




We also use natural colour such as butterfly bean pea (blue), beetroot (red), green tea (green), pumpkin (yellow), coffee to add variety of colors to the creation. The flowers made from these ingredients are not only have a solid shape, but also looks more realistic. Other than having good look, they are also healthier to be consumed by our loved ones.
